March Bonanza Results

The March Bonanza draw took place last night in Quinn’s Bar, Drumlish.

Club Membership

Club Membership for the forthcoming year is now available. The cost is €50 for adults and €40 for students/OAPs. Membership is required for all playing members. Membership entitles you to attend monthly club meetings and if received before March 31st, entitles you to a vote at next year’s AGM and entry into the draw for All Ireland tickets. To pay please contact Registrar, Bridie Reilly or through the Clubspot app.

Club News 26-03-2023

ACFL Division 4 

We were defeated int he first round of the league by Carrickedmond last Saturday, 3-6 to 2-10. The team and scorers were as follows: Cody Lee, Sean McKenna, Declan Donnelly, Ciaran Cooney, Mikie O’Neill, Mark Duffy, Tom McGee, Mark Breslin, David Collum, Kevin Whitney, Ryan Crowe (0-1,1f), Petie Collum (0-1), Aiden Gray (1-0), Kevin Whelan (2-3, 1m), Orrin Greene (0-1). Subs used: Gearoid Nertney, Nathan Maher, James McCann, Rory McEvoy 

Lotto 

The lotto draw took place in Quinn’s Bar, Drumlish on Monday last, March 27th. The Jackpot was €11,600. Results are currently on the club website and social media and will be published in next week’s notes. Thank you to all who support our lotto.

Longford 

Well done to club representatives Paddy Collum and Conor Keenan and the Longford team and management on their victory over Antrim on Sunday. Congratulations to Conor on making his league debut. Best of luck to the squad as they prepare for championship. 

Monster Bingo 

St. Vincent’s are running a Monster Bingo in the ‘98 Hall, Ballinamuck on Sunday, April 2nd at 3pm. There will be €2,500 in prize money as well as a monster raffle. Please support. 

Scór na nÓg 

Well done to our competitors at Scór na nÓg last weekend. They all performed very well and we were unlucky not to have any qualifiers. In Solo Singing and Sean Nós dancing we had Maria McKenna; Recitation: Grainne McKenna and Mikie Mollaghan; Instrumental Music: Maria, Grainne and Patrick McKenna and Question Time: Sean Gibbons, Oisin Kane, Caoimhe Donnelly and Ava Gorman

Club News 19-03-2023

ACFL Division 4 

The football season starts this weekend, as our Division 4 team play the first round of the league at home against Carrickedmond. Throw-in is at 5.30pm on Saturday. Best of luck to the team and management 

 

Lotto 

The lotto draw took place on Monday last, March 13th in The ‘98 Bar, Ballinamuck. The Jackpot was €11,400. The numbers drawn were as follows:

There was no winner. The Jackpot is now €11,600! The three €50 winners were:

The club extends its sympathy to the family and friends of Packie Curwin, Lettergeeragh, who passed away recently; to Owenie Quinn on the recent passing of his sister, Kitty Quinn; and to player John Paul Farley and Grainne O’Malley on their very sad bereavement. Solas na bhFlaitheas orthu.

St. Patrick’s Day 

Everyone at the club would like to wish all our members, players, coaches and supporters at home and abroad a very happy St. Patrick’s Day. Lá Fhéile Pádraig sona dhaoibh. Best of luck and well done to the Ballinamuck parade committee who are holding a parade in Ballinamuck this year. It is great to see this tradition revived after over 80 years
