Lotto

The Lotto draw was held in Quinn’s Bar, Drumlish on Monday last, December 2nd. The Jackpot was €18,800. Tickets are available from the usual outlets and from any member of the executive. Annual General Meeting

This year’s AGM now takes place on Saturday, December 14th at 9pm in the clubhouse in Monaduff.

Annual Christmas Quiz

Our Christmas Quiz is back again this year and will take place in Cassidy’s Olde Village Inn, on Friday night, December 27th at 9pm

Dinner Dance

The Dinner Dance takes place on Saturday night, January 18th in Lough Rynn where the victorious Intermediate team will be presented with their championship medals. Tickets are €35 and are available from Betty Creegan. Music on the night by Nite Fever and there will be a special guest for the presentation.

Longford

Best of luck to Paddy Collum and the Longford team & management as they start the new season away to Kildare in the O’Byrne Cup next Saturday.

This Saturday is a big day for the club as our lads face Rosenallis of Laois at 1.30pm in Pearse Park in the Leinster Quarter Final. Please come out and support the lads

The results are available on the club website and will be published in next week’s notes Tickets are available from the usual outlets and from any member of the executive. Club Membership

Club Membership for the forthcoming year is now available. The cost is €30 for adults and €15 for students. Membership is required for all playing members and for use of the gym. Membership entitles you to attend monthly club meetings and if received before March 31st, entitles you to a vote at next year’s AGM and entry into the draw for All Ireland tickets. Longford Seniors

Hard luck to Longford seniors who were beaten by Laois at the weekend. We hope they can get back on track to secure their position in Division 3 in two weeks’ time against Sligo

Challenge Match

The club’s pre-season preparations continued with another good challenge match last Friday evening away to Tubber in Offaly. In what was a very good game of football we were narrowly pipped on a scoreline of 1-18 to 3-11. The team was:

St Vincents Minor Football Club: MONSTER BINGO: St Vincents Minor Club are holding our Annual Bingo Fundraiser on Sunday 14th April 2019 @ 3pm, in the ’98 Memorial Hall, Ballinamuck. €2,500 to be won in prize money and Easter Eggs to be won on every page. There will also be a monster raffle on the day. The Minor Club caters for Nursery Children up to age 17/18 years of age and support from our players Parents, Families & Friends is appreciated.

We wish the lads all the best in their efforts to bounce back next Saturday against Laois, particularly our representatives Paddy Collum and Pauric Gill along with manager Padraic Davis and backroom team members Gordon Smyth and Ian Higgins.
