Lotto: The Lotto draw was held last Monday, November 5th, in The ‘98 Bar, Drumlish. The Jackpot was €13,400. Results are available on the club website and will be published in next week’s notes. Tickets are available from the usual outlets and from any member of the executive. Thank you to everyone who continues to support our lotto.

AGM: The club AGM will be held on the weekend of December 15th/16th. Day and time to be confirmed in next week’s notes

Sympathy: Fr. Manning Gaels extends its heartfelt sympathy to our clubman and supporter Maurice Murphy and his family on the recent passing of his son James. Solas na bhFlaitheas air.

Minor News – 04-03-2018

MONSTER BINGO: St Vincents Minor Club are holding their 8th Annual Bingo Fundraiser on Sunday 25th March 2018 @ 3pm,  in the ’98 Memorial Hall, Ballinamuck.  €2,500 to be won in prize money and Easter Eggs to be won on every page.  There will also be a monster raffle on the day.  As the Minor Club caters for Nursery Children up to age 17/18 years of age support from our players Parents, Families & Friends is important and appreciated.
St Vincents Minor Football Club: Nursery Programme: gives children ages 4 to 6 an opportunity to be introduced to sport in a friendly, fun and safe environment.  If you are interested in helping out in the nursery group, please contact Enda on 086 8290649 or check out our Facebook page for the link to register.

Fixtures: All GAA action, local and national, was postponed last weekend on account of the bad weather. Details of the re-fixtures will be made available as soon as they are known. This Saturday, March 10th, we are out in the first round of the U20 championship at home to Ballymahon. Throw in is at 5pm. Best of luck to the team and management. Please come out to Monaduff and show your support.

Scór Sinsir: Best of luck to Shane Hagan in the Solo Singing Senior Scór Leinster semi final this Sunday, March 11th in The Downs, Co. Westmeath.

Referee Recruitment: If anyone within the club is interested in becoming a referee the commencement date for the Foundation Level Courses is Tuesday 13th March in Pearse Park and continues the following two Tuesday nights in Pearse Park. For further information please contact Lorraine.

Executive Meeting: There will be a meeting of the Executive this Thursday, March 8th, at 8.30pm in Monaduff. All members of the Executive are requested to attend.

Scór Sinsir: Please note that the Senior Scór date has changed. It now takes place in Ardagh Community Centre on Friday, February 23rd at 7:30pm. Competitions in Scór include: Rince Foirne – Figure Dancing; Amhránaíocht Aonair – Solo Singing; Aithriseoireacht / Scéaltaíocht – Recitation; Bailéad Ghrúpa – Ballad Group; Léiriú Stáitse – Sketch; Ceol Uirlise – Instrumental Music; Rince Seit – Set Dancing; Rince Sean Nós – Sean Nós Dancing. If anyone is interested in competing in the Figure Dancing please contact Mairéad O’Reilly at 0872606494. Please contact Lorraine Corrigan at 0864017301 if you are interested in competing in any of the other events. The club has a proud history in this competition and it would be great if we could get back competing in as many sections as possible.

Longford Seniors: Well done to Paddy Collum, Pauric Gill and the Longford squad on their great win over Derry at the weekend. Best of luck to the lads next week against Armagh.

National Club Draw 2018: The club draw tickets are all in now and the club would like to thank all those who bought and sold tickets since December.

Drumlish Ballinamuck Men’s Shed: The club is delighted to hear that there is great refurbishment work taking place at present with the Drumlish Ballinamuck Men’s Shed and will be opening shortly. Men interested can contact or any member of the DBMS committee or Breda Murphy 087 9181787

Cúl Camps: The club is delighted to learn of the return of the summer camps to Monaduff this August 6th to the 10th. This is a great opportunity for the children of the parish to further develop their skills.

Sympathy: We would like to express our sincere condolences to the Gill family Gaigue on the recent passing of Mary Crawford in Birmigham. The club also expresses sympathy to the family and friends of Rose Courtney, Drumlish and Mary Ellen Coleman (nee Duffy) late of Shanmullagh. Solas na bhFlaitheas orthu.
