ACFL Division 2 

We had another busy week in the league last week. On Wednesday evening last we came from three points behind to draw with Ardagh Moydow in Ardagh, 1-11 to 2-8. JP Farley surged forward at the end for the equalising score with the last kick. The team and scorers were as follows: Paddy Collum (0-2, 2’45), Paul McGee, Cian Brady, Nathan Maher, Dean Cosgrave, JP Farley, Jamie Nertney, Mark Breslin, Sean Whelan, Mark Hughes, Cian Cassidy (0-1, 1f), Ryan Crowe, Aiden Gray (0-1), Kevin Whelan, Martin Cassidy (1-5, 3f). Subs used: Ciaran Cooney. On Saturday evening last we beat Ballymahon in Monaduff, 0-11 to 0-7. The team and scorers were as follows: Paddy Collum (0-2, 2f), Jamie Nertney (0-1), Cian Brady, Paul McGee, Kaelum Gill (0-1), JP Farley, Kevin Whitney, Mark Breslin, Sean Whelan, Ryan Crowe (0-1), Martin Cassidy (0-1), Cian Cassidy (0-4, 2f), Aiden Gray (0-1), Kevin Whelan, Orrin Greene. Subs used: Gearoid Nertney, Micheal Kane. 

Two pieces of club history occurred last Saturday. Gearoid and Jamie Nertney became the first father and son to play together in a senior match for the Gaels and Micheal Kane became the youngest player to play senior for the Gaels! Division 2 has now concluded and we finished in second place. The Division 4 semi-final took place yesterday, Tuesday against Mostrim in Monaduff.  

Lotto 

The lotto draw took place in The Mill Bar, Drumlish on Monday last, July 3rd. The Jackpot was €13,000. The numbers drawn were as follows:

There was no winner. The Jackpot is now €13,200! The three €50 winners were:

Fr Manning Cup 

Congratulations to captain Oisin Kane, Sean Gibbons and manager Enda McGahern on reaching the Fr Manning Cup final when they beat Wexford last Saturday.
