National Club Draw
The National Club Draw tickets are back on sale again this year and this great initiative by the GAA has helped contribute vital funds to our club for the past number of years. Individual prizes include: A brand new Renault Clio; a €2,000 travel voucher; All Ireland Hurling & Football packages; various shopping vouchers and many more. Longford Seniors: Best of luck to Longford in the penultimate round of the National League next Saturday at home to Sligo particularly our representatives Paddy Collum and Pauric Gill along with manager Padraic Davis and backroom team members Gordon Smyth and Ian Higgins. Well done to the Longford hurlers on winning the Division 3B league at the weekend.
Wedding Bells: Congratulations to club stalwart Aiden Gray who got married to Fiona Toher at the weekend. We wish the couple many long years of health and happiness together on the Hill of Drumlish.

Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust & St. Christopher’s Fundraiser: This Monday, March 18th in the Longford Arms Hotel, a fundraiser is being in held in memory of our dear friend Danny McGee in aid of the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust and St:. Christopher’s, Longford. Acts on the night include Declan Nerney, Mick Flavin, Brave Giant, Busy Fingers, Top Shelf, Nite Fever and Cronin. There will also be a raffle with many excellent prizes. Music starts at 8pm and tickets cost €10. A great night is ensured so make sure and come out and support these very worthy causes.
Sympathy: Fr. Manning Gaels extends its deepest sympathy to our Treasurer, Stephen McDermott and the McDermott family on the passing of Stephen’s mother Anna Rita (née Molloy) at the weekend. Stephen has done and continues to do trojan work for the club and our thoughts and prayers are with him and the family at this difficult time.
