Our senior team played Abbeylara on Saturday evening last in Monaduff where we were beaten 2-15 to 2-7. The team and scorers were as follows:

ACFL Division 4
Due to a number of close contacts and injuries we were unable to fulfil our fixture with Mullinalaghta last Wednesday. We play Dromard in the re-fixed match this evening, Wednesday August 11th at 8pm in Monaduff.

Congratulations
The club would like to congratulate senior team captain Pauric Gill who got engaged last weekend. We wish Pauric and his bride to be, Laura McManus, a life time of health and happiness.

Everyone at the club wishes former club great and local councillor Paraic Brady a full and speedy recovery after becoming ill at the weekend. We look forward to seeing Paraic out and about again soon

Championship Draws
The draws for both the senior and junior championships were made at the weekend. In the junior championship we were drawn in a group with Dromard, Ballymore, Young Grattans and Carrickedmond and we play Carrickedmond in the first round. In the senior championship we were drawn in a group with Killoe, Carrickedmond, Longford Slashers, Colmcille and Mostrim and we play Killoe in the first round.
Sympathy
The club extends its deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Joe O’Sullivan (Kilmahon) who passed away recently. Joe was a well of local knowledge and helped greatly contribute to the history of the club and parish. Solas na bhFlaitheas air.
