Senior Championship
The first round of the senior championship for 2021 gets underway this Saturday evening in Newtownforbes at 7pm when we face county champions Killoe. We wish Jack, Niall, Dessie, Graham and the squad the very best of luck. We extend our congratulations to our neighbours Killoe on retaining the county title last week and commiserations to Longford Slashers and our former manager Noel O’Brien.
ACFL Division 1
We played Granard last Saturday in the penultimate round of the senior league. Unfortunately, we were defeated 1-14 to 0-10. A late goal by Granard helped them pull away after we had been competitive throughout. There is one remaining league fixture left, against Mostrim, and this is scheduled for after the championship. ACFL Division 4
We were unlucky to be defeated by Mullinalaghta in the Division 4 semi final last Wednesday evening in The Laurels on a score-line of 1-14 to 1-12. The team and scorers were as follows:

Lotto
Our lotto draw took place on Monday last, August 30th in Dillon’s of Ballinamuck. The Jackpot was €3,600. Results are currently on the club’s social media and website and will be published in next week’s notes
