The Marquee in Drumlish Festival August 18th – 21st
Our 12th Marquee in Drumlish Festival was held last weekend and we would like to thank everyone involved for helping make it such a tremendous success. Thank you to the artists who provided such wonderful entertainment on each of the four nights. Thank you to the Gray family for the use of the Old School site. Thank you to the many volunteers who worked in the preparation of the site and over the course of the weekend. There were many early starts and late finishes, but your hard work paid off and is greatly appreciated. Thanks to all those who helped run the Monster Bingo in Ballinamuck on Sunday and to those who ran the youth event in the Marquee on Saturday afternoon, as well as the Teen Disco on the Thursday night. Thanks to An Garda Síochána and the emergency services for their tireless work also.
Thank you to Tom Cassidy of the Olde Village Inn, Drumlish who was our licencing partner this year. Thank you to Mike and Martin Mulleady at Mulleady Properties who sponsored the festival once again this year. Finally, a massive thank you to all those who came from near and far to attend the Festival. We are sure you all had an enjoyable weekend, and we are looking forward to seeing you all back in Drumlish next year. We are extremely grateful to the people of our parish for their continued support in running the Marquee. Without this kind of support from the people of the community it would be impossible for us to stage such an event. Go raibh míle maith agaibh go léir.
