ACFL Division 2
We had a good win over Ballymahon on Friday evening last in Leo Casey Park. The final score was 0-19 to 1-10. Cian Cassidy was the top scorer with a personal tally of 0-10. We play Ballymore tomorrow Thursday at 8pm in Ballymore and the next day we play Dromard in Division 4 at 8pm in Dromard. Best of luck to the team and management.

Schoolboy Final
Hard luck to the St. Mary’s NS team who were narrowly beaten by Fermoyle, 1-10 to 0-9 in the Division 1A championship final last Thursday. In an exciting contest, the goal only came at the end. Everyone is very proud of their efforts. Well done to Leah Waters on winning Player of the Match. A special word of thanks to their coach Mike Mulleady who has been working hard in the school now for a number of years. St. Patrick’s NS, Ballinamuck played the championship final yesterday, Tuesday, against Killasonna. Thank you to coach Enda McGahern for the great work he has done there and the boys and girls have done the parish proud. There is a great future for St. Helen’s and St. Vincent’s with the talent in both schools.

Club Mass
The annual Mass for the deceased members of the Fr. Manning Gaels, St. Vincent’s and St. Helen’s clubs took place in St. Mary’s Church, Drumlish last Sunday. The Mass started with the presentation of the club jerseys and footballs and these were brought up by Mike Mulleady, Derek McKeon, Michelle McNally and Casey and Alannah Brady. The First Reading was read by Donnacha McKeon and an Dara Léacht was read by Leah Donnelly. The Prayers of the Faithful were read by Sean McDermott, Rachel Sheeran, Meghan McQuaide, Padraig Higgins, Chloe Mulleady and Lorcan McGann. Pakie Duffy and Carina Reynolds brought up the gifts. The Eucharistic Minister were Mary Gillooley and Bridie Reilly and the Communion Reflection was read by Pauric Gill. Thank you to all who participated and to Lorraine and Von Corrigan and Betty Creegan for organising it. Thank you to the choir for their wonderful singing and of course thank you to Fr.
