In what was a very good game of football we were narrowly pipped on a scoreline of 1-18 to 3-11. Longford Seniors: Hard luck to Longford seniors who were beaten by Down at the weekend. We wish the lads all the best in their efforts to bounce back next Saturday against Laois, particularly our representatives Paddy Collum and Pauric Gill along with manager Padraic Davis and backroom team members Gordon Smyth and Ian Higgins.
