Mulleady Group Intermediate Championship

The final group game of the championship is this Sunday, August 11th  at 2pm in Killoe against Grattan Óg. Best of luck to the team and management

Lotto

The lotto draw was held in The Mill Bar, Drumlish on Monday last, August 8th. The Jackpot was €17,200. Results are currently on the club website and will be published in next week’s notes. Tickets are available from the usual outlets and from any member of the executive. On lotto duty this weekend are Darren Reilly and Declan Donnelly. Thank you to everyone who continues to support our lotto.

Junior Championship

Our Juniors played Killoe in the second round of the championship on Wednesday evening last in Clonee. We were unlucky to be beaten on a scoreline of 1-13 to 1-10. The team and scorers were as follows:

The Marquee In Drumlish – August 16th to 19th

This year we are celebrating a decade of The Marquee In Drumlish Festival and we have a fantastic line up to ensure another entertaining weekend. On Friday we have Top Shelf, DJ Fergal D’Arcy and our own Brave Giant are back to headline the night. On Saturday night we have Matthew O’Donnell, Robert Mizzell and

Derek Ryan. On Sunday night there is the excellent Qween – Queen Tribute show, The 4 of Us and local lads Cronin are back to entertain us into the early hours. Monday night is the main event – The Declan Nerney Night, which is sure to finish off another terrific festival in style.

Marquee Monster Bingo

We are celebrating 10 years of the Annual Monster Bingo in conjunction with the Marquee in Drumlish. This will take place on Sunday, the 18th of August in the ’98 Memorial Hall Ballinamuck at 3pm. There is prize money of €2,500 plus Monster Raffle on the day. All proceeds from this year’s bingo will be donated to ‘Meals on Wheels Longford’.

Win a weekend trip to New York

To celebrate 10 years of the Marquee in Drumlish Festival, we are holding a raffle in Quinn’s Bar on Friday night, August 30th at 9pm where one lucky winner will win a weekend break to New York City (or a travel voucher worth €1,000). Marquee Volunteer Registration Night

Drumlish Marquee 2019 are holding their volunteers evening on August 09th 2019 in Monaduff Clubhouse from 9pm to 10pm. If you would like to volunteer to help out at the Marquee by stewarding or working behind the bar please call out on Friday night and give your name. Annual General Meeting

This year’s AGM now takes place on Saturday, December 14th at 9pm in the clubhouse in Monaduff.

Annual Christmas Quiz

Our Christmas Quiz is back again this year and will take place in Cassidy’s Olde Village Inn, on Friday night, December 27th at 9pm

Dinner Dance

The Dinner Dance takes place on Saturday night, January 18th in Lough Rynn where the victorious Intermediate team will be presented with their championship medals. Tickets are €35 and are available from Betty Creegan. Music on the night by Nite Fever and there will be a special guest for the presentation.

Longford
