Senior Team: Our seniors have a very important league match this Friday evening at 8.30pm in Monaduff against Mostrim. Please show your support. Reserve Championship: Our Reserves were knocked out of the championship on account of their 2-15 to 2-7 defeat away to Granard last Sunday afternoon. Unfortuantely two great goals by Gearóid Nertney and Scott Howe in the second half were unable to spur the team on to victory and Granard ran out comfortable winners in the end. We wish the squad all the best in their preparations for the next round. Marquee in Drumlish: More acts were announced this week for the Marquee in Drumlish Festival (August 18^th to 21^st). Local lads Small Time Thieves (aka Top Shelf) will play the Friday night as will State Lights. Country Star Derek Ryan will headline the Saturday night. Executive Meeting: Our monthly executive meeting takes place this Thursday evening, June 22^nd, at 9pm in Monaduff. All members of the executive are requested to attend. Pieta House Free Kick Competition: A free kick competition will take place in Loch Gowna GAA Grounds on Saturday, July 22^nd at 10am in aid of Pieta House. U-21 Championship: Our U-21 match with Mullinalaghta was called off at the weekend. Due to the unusual timing of the match at 3.30pm on Saturday afternoon we were unable to field a team as many of our players were working. Unfortunately a reasonable request for a date or time change would not be facilitated and we therefore had to concede the match which means this concludes our participation in the competition. This is a particularly disappointing turn of events given that this fixture had been changed multiple times over the last month for reasons which had nothing to do with our club. We would like to thank the management team of Séamus Noonan, Ken Leonard and Gearóid Nertney and the panel of players for the hard work they put in over the past couple of months.

Hard Luck: Commiserations to clubmen Padraic Davis, Pete McWade and Ian Higgins who were unlucky to lose out with Mohill against Castlebar in the Connacht Club Championship at the weekend. We would like to congratulate the 3 men on an extremely succesful 3 year tenure with Mohill which saw them land 2 championships, 3 leagues in a row and U21 championships.

Men’s Shed: Fr Manning Gaels are delighted to see progress on the setting up of a men’s shed initiative for the community of Drumlish/Ballinamuck. More details will be available in the coming weeks.

Engagement: Congratulations to senior player Liam Lynch who got engaged to Breda Corrigan recently. We wish the couple health and happiness together for the future.
