Sympathy
The club expresses its deepest sympathy to the Nertney family, Clonmacart, on the passing of Paddy Nertney. Paddy’s sons Gearóid and Eamon are both very much involved with the senior and underage club and Jason has represented the Gaels both on the pitch and very successfully at Scór. Grandsons Jamie and Jack are part of our senior team. Paddy himself proudly wore the maroon and gold representing the Gaels in the 1970s. Our thoughts and prayers are with Paddy’s wife Mary, children Eamon, Leona, Gearóid, Sharon, Eileen, Aisling and Jason, grandchildren, extended family and many friends at this difficult time.
