Well done to our committee of Mike Mulleady, Lorraine Corrigan, Stephen McDermott, Aiden Gray, Podge Gill and Pauric Gill who ensured the event was a success. A particular word of thanks goes to committee members Pete McWade and Pat Collum who were the driving forces behind this event. Thank you, all our stewards and sweepers, and the Mothers & Others for doing up the food.
Thank you to Code Blue for their professionalism in ensuring everyone’s medical needs were met.
Events like this could not happen without sponsorship. Thank you to our main event sponsor Longford Precast and ABC Childcare for sponsoring the food. Councillor Colin Dalton very generously sponsored the badly needed water, and we graciously received sponsorship from Councillor David Cassidy, Mark Cunningham and Brian & Ronan O’Hara.

Hard luck to Enda McGahern and Paddy Collum on their defeat by Fermanagh in the Tailteann Cup last Sunday. Paddy was in great form as always with three outstanding goal-bound saves.
