Lotto
The Lotto draw was held last Monday, December 30th in Dillon’s Bar & Restaurant, Ballinamuck. The Jackpot was €2,000. Results are available on the club website and will be published in next week’s notes. Tickets are available from the usual outlets and from any member of the executive. Thank you to everyone who continues to support our lotto.
Annual Christmas Quiz
Our annual Christmas table quiz was held in The Olde Village Inn, Drumlish on Friday last, December 27th. Another great night’s entertainment was had by all. In first place was the Gill team of Marie, Joseph and Pauric Gill; in second place were John & Mary Breslin’s team and in third was Séamus Hannon, James Bennet and Conor & Niall Farrell. Thank you to all three teams who kindly donated their prize money back to the club. The raffle prize winners were as follows: Christmas Hamper (sponsored by McCarrick’s Cash & Carry) – Séamus Noonan; Hamper (sponsored by Jodie, Von, Lorraine & Sinéad Corrigan) – Claire Dowler; Budweiser Crate and Box of Roses (sponsored by Eamon and Gearóid Nertney of Nertney Electrical) – DJ Christie McCormack; Bottle of Whiskey (sponsored by Mike and Martin Mulleady of Mulleady Properties) – Claire Dowler; Bottle of Whiskey (sponsored by Mike and Martin Mulleady of Mulleady Properties) – Paddy O’Neill. Thank you to Tom Cassidy and all the staff at the Village Inn for the use of the premises and their hospitality. Thank you to Lorraine Corrigan for the difficult task of setting 100 questions (Do you know what a Deltiologist collects?); Séamus Gallagher for doing MC on the night along with Bridie Reilly reading the questions; Von Corrigan, Betty Creegan, Pauline Corr for collecting and correcting all the answer sheets and helping out. Thank you to all who kindly sponsored the raffle prizes. Finally, thank you to all who came and took part and bought raffle tickets. Without all this work and support, the event would not be the success it continues to be every year and we look forward to it again next year.
Dinner Dance
The Dinner Dance takes place in Lough Rynn Hotel on Saturday January 18th, with presentation of medals to the Intermediate Team and presentations to St Vincent’s and St Helen’s Players. Tickets cost €35 and are now on sale until Wednesday 15th of January and can be purchased from Betty Creegan, Seamus Gallagher, or Lorraine Corrigan. Dinner will be served at 8pm followed with music by Nite Fever. No tickets will be sold on the night
Club Meeting
The first club meeting of 2020 takes place this Thursday at 9pm in Monaduff. All club members are welcome to attend
National Club Draw
The National Club Draw tickets are back on sale again this year and this great initiative by the GAA has helped contribute vital funds to our club for the past number of years. Individual prizes include: A brand new Renault Clio; a €2,000 travel voucher; All Ireland Hurling & Football packages; various shopping vouchers and many more. Details of each prize available are on each ticket. Tickets cost €10 and can be bought from any member of the Gaels squad. As always, your support is greatly appreciated.

Club Membership
Club Membership for the forthcoming year is now available. The cost is €30 for adults and €15 for students. Membership is required for all playing members and for use of the gym. Membership entitles you to attend monthly club meetings and if received before March 31st, entitles you to a vote at next year’s AGM and entry into the draw for All Ireland tickets.
