AGM: The club AGM will be held on the weekend of December 15^th/16^th. Day and time to be confirmed in next week’s notes

Fixtures: All GAA action, local and national, was postponed last weekend on account of the bad weather. Details of the re-fixtures will be made available as soon as they are known. This Saturday, March 10^th, we are out in the first round of the U20 championship at home to Ballymahon. Throw in is at 5pm. Best of luck to the team and management. Please come out to Monaduff and show your support.

Club Membership: Money for club membership is now due from all players and anyone who wish to become a member of Fr Manning Gaels for 2018. Membership is €30 for adults and €15 for students. Players who do not pay their membership fee will not be covered by club insurance should injury arise. Only those who have paid membership will be eligible to represent the club in the upcoming season. Membership entitles entry in draw for All-Ireland football and hurling tickets in August. Those who pay membership byMarch 31st ’18 will also be eligible to vote at next years AGM.

Scór Sinsir: Best of luck to Shane Hagan in the Solo Singing Senior Scór Leinster semi final this Sunday, March 11^th in The Downs, Co. Westmeath.

Referee Recruitment: If anyone within the club is interested in becoming a referee the commencement date for the Foundation Level Courses is Tuesday 13^th March in Pearse Park and continues the following two Tuesday nights in Pearse Park. For further information please contact Lorraine.

Scór Sinsir: Please note that the Senior Scór date has changed. It now takes place in Ardagh Community Centre on Friday, February 23rd at 7:30pm. Competitions in Scór include: Rince Foirne – Figure Dancing; Amhránaíocht Aonair – Solo Singing; Aithriseoireacht / Scéaltaíocht – Recitation; Bailéad Ghrúpa – Ballad Group; Léiriú Stáitse – Sketch; Ceol Uirlise – Instrumental Music; Rince Seit – Set Dancing; Rince Sean Nós – Sean Nós Dancing. If anyone is interested in competing in the Figure Dancing please contact Mairéad O’Reilly at 0872606494. The club has a proud history in this competition and it would be great if we could get back competing in as many sections as possible.

Longford Seniors: Well done to Paddy Collum, Pauric Gill and the Longford squad on their great win over Derry at the weekend. Best of luck to the lads next week against Armagh.

National Club Draw 2018: The club draw tickets are all in now and the club would like to thank all those who bought and sold tickets since December.

Cúl Camps: The club is delighted to learn of the return of the summer camps to Monaduff this August 6^th to the 10^th. This is a great opportunity for the children of the parish to further develop their skills.
