Lotto: On account of the Christmas, the next draw is in The ’98 Bar, Ballinamuck on Monday, January 8th. The Jackpot is now €9,200. Tickets are available from the usual outlets and from any member of the executive. Thank you to everyone who continue to support our lotto.

Annual Table Quiz: Our annual table quiz took place on Friday last in Gallagher’s Bar, Drumlish. As always it was a great evening’s entertainment so thank you to all who took part and well done to all who won prizes. In first place (after a tense tiebreaker asking how many square feet is the White House!) winning €100, was Table 1 – Ciarán Carey, Margaret Ann Carey and Michelle Mollaghan. In second place, winning €60, was Table 12 – Séamus Gallagher, Stelia Hopkins, Tony Clarke and Eleanor Beirne, who kindly donated their prize back to the club. In third place, winning €40, was Table 3 – Seán Mahon, Catherine Mahon, Vanessa Hayden, Mike Mulleady, Imelda McIntyre and Majella Farmer, who also kindly donated their prize back to the club. The raffle prize winners were as follows:

1st prize winning the Hamper (kindly sponsored by McCarrick’s) was Emma O’Connor.

2nd prize winning the bottle of wine and chocolates (kindly sponsored by the Corrigan family) was Michael McNally.

3rd prize winning the bottle of whiskey (kindly sponsored by Gallagher’s Bar) was Seán Tobin.

4th prize winning the box of biscuits (kindly sponsored by the Duffy family) was Mickey Phillips.

A massive thank you to Séamus Gallagher and his staff for their hospitality and the use of the premises. Thank you to Catriona Gallagher for doing an excellent job as MC for the night. Thank you to Lorraine Corrigan for doing the difficult task of setting 100 questions for the quiz. Finally, thank you to those who sponsored the raffle prizes and also those who donated prizes back to the club. It is greatly appreciated.
