Michael Moran Division 2 League: On Sunday afternoon last we played Carrickedmond in the league in Michael Moran Park. With nothing left to play for in the league, we were well defeated on a scoreline of 3-15 to 0-7. The team and scorers were as follows:

Monthly Meeting: This month’s Executive meeting will be held this Thursday evening, August 30th, at 8.30pm in Monaduff. All members of the Executive are requested to attend. This will be followed by a club meeting at 9.30pm where all club members are welcome to attend.

Upcoming Fixtures: On Wednesday evening next at 8.30pm we have our  last match of the Division 2 league at home to Seán Connolly’s. Best of luck to our team and management. The draw was made for the semi final of the championship at the weekend and we will face Rathcline on the weekend of the 9th of September.

Lotto: The lotto draw was held in Gallagher’s Bar, Drumlish on Monday last, August 27th. The Jackpot was €12,400. Results are available on the club website and will be in next week’s notes. Tickets are available from the usual outlets and from any member of the executive. Thank you to everyone who continues to support our lotto.

The Marquee In Drumlish – Workers’ Night: We are holding an appreciation night for all those who helped out at the Marquee this Friday, August 31st, at 10pm in Quinn’s Bar, Drumlish. There will be finger food on the night. The Festival could not take place without the hard work put in by so many people in the community and we are very grateful for this support.

New York Senior Championship: Well done to Darren Farley and the Longford team in New york who qualified for the senior championship final as a result of their 1-15 to 0-10 win over Donegal on Sunday last in Gaelic Park. Best of luck to Darren and the squad in the final
