It takes place this Thursday, December 6th in Monaduff, first with an executive meeting at half 8, followed by a club meeting at half 9. All respective executive and club members are requested to attend.

National Club Draw: The National Club Draw tickets are back on sale again this year and this great initiative by the GAA has helped contribute vital funds to our club for the past number of years. There is a new prize for participating clubs whereby there is a chance to play a club championship match in Croke Park. Individual prizes include: A brand new Renault Clio 4 Expression; a €2,000 travel voucher; All Ireland Hurling & Football packages; various shopping vouchers and many more. Details of each prize available are on each ticket. Tickets cost €10 and can be bought from any member of the Gaels squad. As always, your support is greatly appreciated.

Longford: Best of luck to Paddy Collum, Pauric Gill, new manager Padraic Davis and backroom team members Ian Higgins and Gordon Smyth as Longford seniors play their first competitive match of the new season in the O’Byrne Cup against Wicklow. Throw in is at 8pm this Saturday in Newtownforbes.

Dublin Success: Comhghairdeas mór to Niall Kiernan and his Na Gaeil Óga club on winning the Dublin Division 6 league with 15 wins out of 15 recently. Na Gaeil Óga are a relatively new club who play and administer solely through Irish and it is great to see one of our own doing so well with them.

Save The Date: A very important information evening on Drug, Alcohol, and Cyber Security Awareness will be held on Friday, January 18th in the clubhouse in Monaduff. More to details to follow in the coming weeks

Bereavement Counselling: In the wake of the untimely, tragic passing of our friend Danny McGee the club has organised and sponsored bereavement counselling for anyone who has been impacted. It will take place this Friday, December 7th  at 8pm in Monaduff and is free of charge. This will be facilitated by Sarah Cox, a bereavemet councillor from the IACP and is open for anyone who wants to attend. A Grief and Bereavement Support Group is a non-Denominational Support Group offering support, friendship, acceptance and understanding in a safe and confidential setting – or just an opportunity for people to come and discuss Danny.
