Club News 30-10-2022

U21 Championship 

Our U21 team were beaten by Rathcline in the third round of the championship last Friday night in Monaduff, 4-12 to 1-7. The team and scorers were as follows: Cody Lee, Paul McGee, Mikie O’Neill, Nathan Maher, Sean McKenna (0-1), Rory McEvoy, Jamie Nertney (0-3, 3f), Eoin Mealy (1-0), Orrin Greene, Christopher Crowe, Rokus Stoskus (0-2), Jim Rogers, Eoin Murtagh (0-1). Subs used: Eoin Curwin, Sean Hourican and Joe Murray. We were unable to field in the final round against Carrickedmond. That concludes activity on the field for the club for 2022. Thank you to the players and management team of Emmet Noonan, JP Farley, Mark Hughes and Paul Dowler for their efforts in this competition. 

 

Lotto 

The lotto draw took place on Monday last, October 24th in The Mill Bar, Drumlish. The Jackpot was €9,400. The numbers drawn were as follows: 

5, 6, 14, 26 

There was no Jackpot winner. The 3 x €50 winners were as follows:

October Bonanza Draw 

Our October Bonanza Draw also took place in The Mill Bar on October 24th last. Congratulations to the winners: 

1st prize €500 Margaret Farley, Church View 

2nd prize €200 Hugh & Annette Donnelly, Ballinamuck 

3rd prize €150 Sandie Donohoe, Killoe  

4th prize €150 Jimmy Courtney, Clonmacart

Monaduff Marathon For Crumlin 

Well done to Pat Collum on his completion of a marathon around the walking track in Monaduff on Saturday last in aid of Crumlin Children’s Health Foundation. Well done to everyone who ran and helped out for such a great cause. 

 

AGM 

The club’s AGM will take place on Friday night, November 18th at 8pm in Monaduff 

 

Sympathy 

The club extends its deepest sympathy to the family and friends of both Margaret Corcoran (née Reilly, formerly of Ballinamuck) and Bridie Mollaghan (née Browne, Conmacart) who passed away recently. Solas na bhFlaitheas orthu.
