National Schools

Congratulations to Drumlish NS on their win in the Division 1B final against Killoe last week. This is the first time a school from the parish has competed in Division 1 since the founding of Cumann na mBunscol and great credit goes to Mike Mulleady, their trainer, who has been coaching in the school for a number of years as well as our underage and nursery coaches. Commiserations to Ballinamuck NS on their defeat but who also did very well to reach the final. Well done to Shane Hannify who got Man of the Match in his final win with Abbeylara NS

Sympathy

The club extends its sympathy to the family and friends of Fr Frank Gray who passed away last week. Fr. Frank was curate in the parish in the early 70s and took a very active role in the affairs of the club, being one of our club presidents and also on the finance committee which was instrumental in launching what would become the Marquee in Drumlish.
