Monthly Bonanza Draw 

Our first Monthly Bonanza Draw took place on Monday last, February 28th in Cassidy’s Olde Village Inn, Drumlish. Thank you to everyone who supported this fundraising initiative. We received a terrific response from the local community and beyond. Results are currently on the club website and social media and will be published in next week’s notes 

 

Lotto 

The lotto draw took place on Monday last, February 21st in Quinn’s Bar, Drumlish. The Jackpot was €6,000. The numbers drawn were as follows: 

6, 8, 16, 20 

There was no winner. The Jackpot is now €6,200! The three €50 winners were:

Club Membership 

Club Membership for the forthcoming year is now available. The cost is €50 for adults and €40 for students/OAPs. Membership is required for all playing members. Membership entitles you to attend monthly club meetings and if received before March 31st, entitles you to a vote at next year’s AGM and entry into the draw for All Ireland tickets. To pay please contact Registrar, Bridie Reilly or through the Clubspot app.  

 

Longford 

Hard luck to Paddy Collum and the Longford team and management on their defeat by Fermanagh at the weekend. We wish them the best of luck in the next round of the National League against Westmeath this weekend. 

 

Sympathy 

The club extends its deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Nancy Cooney (née Davis, Main St. Drumlish), Hugh Boyle (Fardromin) and Molly Whitney (Clonmacart) who all passed away last week. Our sympathy is also extended to the Prunty family, Kiltycreevagh, on the sad passing of Seamus’ nephew David Clifford in Canada. Solas na bhFlaitheas orthu 

 

Get Well Soon 

The club extends its best wishes to our great supporter Jimmy Connor, Gaigue. We wish Jimmy a speedy recovery and hope to see him out and about again soon. 

 

 

 

Challenge 

The senior team had its first outing of the year last Saturday with a good workout in Monaduff against Aughnasheelin. We thank Aughansheelin for the sporting game and wish them all the best for the coming year. Thank you to Ken Leonard for reffing and to Lorraine and Von Corrigan for providing refreshments after. 

 

Congratulations 

Congratulations are extended to clubman Fergal Reilly on his recent engagement. We wish Fergal and his bride to be, Kerri Nicholson, a very happy and healthy future together
