Leinster Senior Championship
Hard luck to keeper Paddy Collum, manager Padraic Davis, and the Longford team and management on their defeat by Meath in Navan in the quarter final of the Leinster Championship at the weekend. Congrats to Paddy who made the GAA team of the week last week after his excellent performance against Carlow. The club wishes Padraic Davis all the best after he announced his resignation after 3 years in charge of the county senior team.
Sympathy
The club extends its deepest sympathy to the Columb family, Ballinamuck, on the passing of Kevin Columb in England. Kevin was an U21 championship winner with the club in the 80s before emigrating. Solas na bhFlaitheas air.
