A reminder that the club has offered to help collect the shopping/groceries/medication for the elderly and vulnerable in our parish. If you need this assistance or know of someone who does, please contact our secretary Lorraine Corrigan on 0864017301. Our team of volunteers are ready to help.

Old Photos

With a lack of action on the playing fields we are trying to collect as many old football related photographs to share them with our supporters. If you have any Gaels related pictures, be they action shots, team photos, trips away, old trophies/medals etc. please scan them and email to pauricgill@gmail.com or direct message to the Gaels Facebook page

It was great to see 3 clubmen make Martin Breheny’s top 10 Longford players of the last 50 years in the Independent recently. Frank McNamee at no.9, Padraic Davis at no.7 and Jimmy Hannify at no.2. Nice bit of recognition for stellar careers at club and county

Congratulations to senior player Liam Lynch and his wife Breda on the birth of their daughter Faye at the weekend

Sympathy

The club extends sympathy to Marlene McWade and relatives on the passing of Stephen Thornton. We also extend our condolences to the family and friends of Michael Sonny McKeon (Clonaugh) who passed away recently. Solas na bhFlaitheas orthu.
