ACFL Division 2
Well done to the lads who had a good win against Killashee last Friday evening in Killashee. The final score was 1-13 to 1-4. We trailed early on after the concession of a gift goal, but went in at half time in front, 0-7 to 1-2, with the Cassidy brothers and Kevin Whelan very much to the fore. Cian Cassidy’s well-placed second half goal into the bottom corner helped us pull away midway through the second half. The team and scorers were as follows: Paddy Collum, Paul McGee, JP Farley, Cian Brady, Tom McGee, Mark Hughes (0-1), Dean Cosgrave, Kaelum Gill, Sean Whelan, Jamie Nertney, Conor Keenan (0-1), David Collum, Martin Cassidy (0-7, 4f), Kevin Whelan (0-2), Cian Cassidy (1-1). Subs used: Pauric Gill (0-1), Liam Lynch, Ryan Crowe, Caelum McGee.
