U-21 Championship
The U-21 championship started last Sunday in Monaduff and the Gaels were beaten by Rathcline, 2-11 to 0-7. It was 0-5 to 0-4 to Rathcline at half time but they dominated the second half to run out comprehensive winners. Team: Cody Lee, Aaron Brady, Caelum McGee, Paul McGee (0-1), Sean McKenna, Rory McEvoy, Kaelum Gill, Jim Rogers (0-2, 2f), Orrin Greene, Christopher Crowe (0-3, 3f), Sean Hourican, Rokas Stoskus (0-1), Eoin Mealy. Patsy Reilly Cup Final
The final game of the year takes place this Friday night as we play Kenagh at 8pm in the Patsy Reilly Cup final, the venue has yet to be determined. Best of luck to the team and management.
Lotto
The lotto draw took place in The ‘98 Bar, Ballinamuck on Monday last, October 23rd. The Jackpot was €14,600. Results are currently on the club website and social media and will be published in next week’s notes. The October Bonanza draw also took place. Thank you to all who support our lotto. Dinner Dance
The club is holding a special dinner dance this year to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the three-in-a-row senior championship winning teams of 1996-1998. It will take place on November 11th in Lough Rynn Castle. There will be a three course meal, live music and a special guest. Tickets cost €30 and it’s a night not to be missed
Monaduff Marathon
The Monaduff Marathon for Children’s Health Ireland is back for 2023 on Saturday 28th October in Monaduff Park. Donations can be made using the collection buckets at the pitch on the day, through sponsorship cards or through https://www.justgiving.com/ (Pat’s Monaduff Marathon for Children’s Health Foundation). Notable achievement
Well done to Aaron Gillooley, son of club and county great Ciaran, who made the Donegal championship team of the week recently for his performance marking Michael Murphy. A proud moment for grandparents Mary and Paddy.
Sympathy
