The Marquee in Drumlish Festival August 9th – 12th
The Marquee is back this year, starting this Friday August 9th until Monday the 12th. We have a fantastic line up to ensure another entertaining weekend. On Friday night have Allie Sherlock, The Highstool Prophets and Ruaile Buaile. On Saturday we have Jimmy Buckley and Derek Ryan. On Sunday night the line-up is Qween, Chasing Abbey and Cronin. We round off the festival on Monday night with the main event – The Declan Nerney Night, which promises to finish a terrific festival in style, as always and includes acts such as Nathan Carter and many others. Thank you to our event sponsors Mike and Martin Mulleady of Mulleady Properties who are back on board again this year. We look forward to seeing you all there!
Monster Bingo
Monster Bingo and raffle will take place in the ‘98 Hall in Ballinamuck this Sunday, August 11th at 3pm. All proceeds are in aid of St Vincents minor club. All welcome

The Travel Draw, in conjunction with The Marquee in Drumlish, is also back this year where for just €5 you can win a €1,000 travel voucher. You can also buy 5 lines for €20 or 10 lines for €40. Tickets are on sale from any of the players or executive as well as on Clubspot. The prize has once again been kindly sponsored by Cunningham Design & Planning and Larkin Windows. The draw will take place on August 31st in Quinn’s Bar, Drumlish.
Intermediate Championship
We had a good hard-fought win over Ballymore last Sunday in the championship. The final score was 2-7 to 1-6. We led at half-time 1-4 to 0-1, with the goal coming from Cian Cassidy just before the whistle. Paddy Collum had earlier brilliantly saved a penalty. Ballymore came back in the second half and reduced the margin to a point with time running out. Pauric Gill finished to the net after Cian Cassidy cut through and squared the ball and the same players combined for a point shortly after to secure a very important win. Junior B Championship
The Junior B championship got underway last Friday evening in Monaduff against Granard. Unfortunately, we were beaten 2-9 to 1-7. Team and scorers: Cody Lee, Sean McKenna, Declan Donnelly, David McKenna, Tom McGee (0-1), Darren Farley, Caelum McGee, Jim Rogers (0-1), Kevin Whitney, Christopher Crowe (0-3, 1f), Rokas Stoskus, Orrin Greene (0-1), Sean Hourican (0-1), James McCann, Jack Nertney (1-0). Sub: Nigel Kiernan. There was no Junior C match last Monday as we received the points from the Connollys
Lotto
The lotto draw took place in The ‘98 Bar, Ballinamuck, on Monday last, August 5th. The Jackpot was €18,600.
