Congratulations
Massive congratulations to our own club great Paraic Brady on his election to Seanad Éireann on the Agricultural Panel. This is a remarkable achievement for Paraic, his family and parish and the club is very proud. Paraic brought his tremendous work ethic on the football field to Longford County Council for many years and will do the same in the Upper House. Paraic is only the second man from the parish to be elected as a Senator, after Eddie Bohan served between 1987 and 2007, while Junior Championship winner in 1919 with the Ballinamuck ‘98s, James O’Toole, was elected a TD for Bray in 1957
