Championship 

The first round of the Intermediate championship takes place this Saturday, July 30th in Dunbeggan Park, Stonepark against Ardagh Moydow at 7pm. Best of luck to Fintan, Mick, Graham and the lads. Please come out and show your support.  

 

Lotto 

The lotto draw took place on Monday last, July 25th in The Mill Bar, Drumlish. The Jackpot was €8,200. The July Monthly Bonanza draw also took place. Results are currently on the club’s social media and will be published in next week’s notes. 

 

Sympathy 

The club extends its deepest sympathy to the Higgins family, Clonaugh on the passing of Mary last week. Mary was of course a former teacher and principal in St. Mary’s NS, Drumlish and was a positive influence on so many children in the parish over the years. She also served St. Vincent’s minor club as secretary for a period in the 90s. Solas na bhFlaitheas uirthi. 

 

Ministerial Visit 

It was great to welcome Minister of State for Sport Jack Chambers together with Joe Flaherty TD, Senator Micheál Carrigy and local councillors Paraic Brady and Mick Cahill to Monaduff Park last week. Chairman Mike Mulleady and members of the executive gave them a tour of the facilities and outlined the club’s ambitious development plans for the near future. 

 

Marquee in Drumlish Launch Night 

The launch night for The Marquee in Drumlish Festival takes place this Friday, July 29th in The Village Inn, Drumlish at 9pm. There will be music and refreshments on the night and a good night’s entertainment is ensured.
