Lotto: The draw was held in Quinn’s Bar, Drumlish on Monday last, April 2nd. The Jackpot was €10,400. Results are currently available on the club website and will be in next week’s notes. Tickets are available from the usual outlets and from any member of the executive. Thank you to everyone who continues to support our lotto.

U20 Championship: Our U20s were well beaten by Abbeylara/Mullinalaghta on a score line of 3-19 to 1-5 in the last round of the U20 championship on Good Friday. This concludes our involvement in the championship and we would like to thank the panel of players and management team of Cian Brady, Aiden Gray and David Collum for the effort put in

Michael Moran ACFL Division 2: The first round of the league was called off last Sunday due to a bereavement in the Grattan Óg club. We send our sincere condolences to the family and friends of the deceased. The next round is away to Cashel, this Saturday, April 7th at 7pm. Please support

Drumlish Ballinamuck Men’s Shed: The Drumlish and Ballinamuck Men’s Shed is opening this Wednesday night, April 4th at 8pm in Drumlish. Fr. Manning Gaels would like to wish the best of luck to all those involved with this great initiative as it is vitally important to combat isolation and encourage social engagement in rural communities. It would be great to see large support from the GAA community on the night.

Padraic Gearty Cup: Our Juniors were out in the Padraic Gearty Cup on Easter Monday last against Legan Sarsfields in Monaduff. Details will be in next week’s notes.

Club Captaincy: Well done to Paddy Collum who was selected as club captain again this year. Well done also to Emmett Noonan who was appointed vice captain. We wish both men the best of luck in their important roles for the coming year

Sports First Aid Course: Longford Sports Partnership are running a Sports First Aid Course on Saturday the 21st April from 10am to 5pm. If you are interested in enrolling on this course please send your details to info@longfordsports.ie

Coaching Officers Workshop & Information Night: There is a training and information night for all Club Coaching Officers on Thursday 5th April at 7pm in Glennon Brothers Pearse Park. This is to launch the new “TURAS” Coach Development Programme that will be ran out with all Clubs in the County in the coming months

Referee Shortage: There is currently a shortage of referees in the county. Without referees we will have no games so this situation needs to be urgently rectified by all clubs in the county. If you are interested in becoming a referee please contact Lorraine.

Sympathy: We extend our sincere sympathy to footballer and underage coach Graham Lee on the recent death of his mother. Our condolences also to Mary McCormack, Gaigue, on the recent passing of her mother. Solas na bhFlaitheas orthu.
