Congratulations to Fintan, Mick and the team on qualifying for the Intermediate Championship final against Ballymahon on October 9th after a last minute 2-14 to 1-14 victory over Kenagh last Saturday. The team showed great heart in coming back from a three-point deficit with time running out to emerge victorious. Cian Cassidy twisted and turned to kick the leveller on the stroke of normal time and a minute later David Collum fisted a dropped shot from Conor Keenan to the net to secure the win. The lotto draw took place on Monday last, September 26th in Dillon’s of Ballinamuck. The Jackpot was €9,000. Congratulations to St. Vincent’s star Ashley Weafer on his All Ireland Gold in the U14 50m Freestyle swimming competition at the National Community Games. This is an incredible achievement and the whole club and parish is very proud.
