Senior Championship: We played St. Mary’s, Granard in the Senior championship Relegation Play-Off on Friday night last in Kenagh and unfortunately we were not at the races and came out second best on a scoreline of 2-18 to 1-10. This disappointing result means we will be playing Intermediate championship in 2018. Hard luck to the team and management who gave it their all and were most unfortunate to find themselves in this situation having finished the championship group on 5 points.

The team and scorers were as follows:

Paddy Collum, Mickey Kelly, Cian Brady, Dan Gorman, Emmet Noonan (1-0), Mark Duffy, Nigel Kiernan (0-1), David Collum, Kevin Whelan, Eoin Keane (0-3, (3f)), Diarmuid Cooney (0-1), Pauric Gill (0-2), Martin Cassidy (0-1, (1f)), Petie Collum (0-2, (1f), Mark Hughes.

Substitutions used:

Seán Whelan, Liam Lynch, Dean Cosgrave, Aiden Gray, Ciarán Cooney.
