Walk Your Parish
Longford Sports Partnership together with Longford GAA have launched a “Walk Your Parish” community challenge where there will be prizes for the parish that logs the greatest average distant per participant and with the most participants to complete the challenge as well as spot prizes for individuals between November 23rd and December 20th. To participate: download and sign up to the STRAVA app (free) and follow Longford Sports Partnership and request to join your parish team, then record your walk on STRAVA. You can also send a screenshot from your fitness tracker to sports@longfordcoco.ie
Community Alert
We remind everyone to be vigilant when parking up at Monaduff when using the walkway into Drumlish and to leave no valuables inside. On Sunday afternoon last two male youths were caught attempting to break into a car which was parked outside the gates.
