Sponsorship: The club was very grateful to receive sponsored gear at the weekend ahead of the first round of the championship. Thank you to Padraic Davis of Padraic Davis Auctioneering for sponsoring training shirts which proudly carry the “Opt For Life” Organ donation foundation logo. Thank you also to Brian O’Connor of Bond Engineering, New York City for his sponsorship of shorts for the squad. Thanks to his aunt Eileen McGann who represented him at the presentation in Monaduff on Saturday evening. Both men need no introduction around Longford. As we know they excelled on the playing field for both the Gaels and Longford and it is wonderful to have them still giving us such support. We wish them both continued success with their respective businesses. Thank you to our selector Anthony McKeon of McKeon Tyres who sponsored food for the panel at the weekend. The club is privileged to have so many people willing to support us in all ways possible.
