Senior Championship: It is championship time again and we face Ballymahon this Saturday in Keenan Park, Ardagh at 7pm. The team and management have been working hard all year and we wish them the best of luck in this very important fixture. Please come out and show your support.

Lotto: The draw will be held in Gallagher’s Bar, Drumlish tonight Monday, July 10th. The Jackpot is €6,800. Results will be on the club website when available and will be in next week’s notes. Tickets are available from the usual outlets and from any member of the executive.

Junior Team: Our Junior team were scheduled to play Ballymahon on Sunday last in Monaduff, however the match was called off as the opposition were unable to field. The next round of the league is this Sunday at 2.30pm in Monaduff against Ardagh/Moydow.

Senior League: Our seniors played Colmcille in round 7 of the Division 1 league on Friday night last in Monaduff. Unfortunately we came out second best on a score line of 2-11 to 0-9. The concession of two soft goals in the first half and a number of missed chances proved costly for us in the end. The team and scorers were as follows:

Paddy Collum, Mickey Kelly, Cian Brady, Mark Duffy, Nigel Kiernan, Emmet Noonan, Eoin Keane, David Collum, Pauric Gill (0-2), Kevin Whelan (0-1), Diarmuid Cooney (0-1), Ciarán Cooney, Petie Collum (0-3, (2f)), Martin Cassidy (0-2, (2f)), Mark Hughes.

Substitutions used: Dan Gorman, Stephen Cosgrave, Gearóid Nertney, Seán Whelan

Sponsorship: The club would like to thank David Collum for his very generous sponsorship of football gloves for the senior squad. It is greatly appreciated.

Gym Membership: A reminder that those wishing to use the gym in Monaduff must pay their club registration fee to Registrar Bridie Reilly, otherwise they are not covered by insurance.
